OSMAN PAZVANTOGLU`S MOSQUE

The mosque is a massive stone building with strongly oriental architecture. The entrance is formed up as an open gallery. The prayer saloon is huge and decorated with lathing ceiling, where there is a wood-carving rosette.

There is a balcony meant for the women. The minaret finishes with stylized top on the peak /probably the mark of the armed parts, to whom belonged the Vidin ruler/. Placing the peak emphasizes the independence of Pazvantoglu from the Sultan, whose sign is the crescent.
