Гамзиград је археолошко налазиште близу Зајечара у источној Србији античке римске царске палате Феликс Ромулијане (лат. Felix Romuliana) које се од 29. јуна 2007. налази на УНЕСКО-вој листи светске баштине.

First mass cycling event of the newly founded cyling club "Skala" in Belogradchik

Over 30 children took part in the first event of the newly established cycling club "Skala" in Belogradchik. Column, led by a police car moves along the road towards the village Izvos and then exit the old dirt road to Subashin locality. There young riders cleaned the pitch together as pre-prepared rubbish bags. Then under the leadership of seniors club "Scale" was held master race bike and shooting paintball. For the youngest participants were 12 years organized competition tug of war. The purpose of this event was not only to count cyclists young and old, but also to provide an alternative for a pleasant holiday in the countryside by bike.

Belogradchik kolezdachno company "Skala" is based on the July 13, 1908 by 38 founding people. The first members of the management of the company are: Lieutenant Apostolov, Nayden Stefanov Glavchov Wolf, captain and lieutenant Kostantinov Tsvetkov. Officers are Belogradchik Garrison (15th Infantry Regiment Lom) and during the wars interrupt the company's operations. It resumed its activities March 18, 1926 and 1945 results in relatively good organizatsionnen life. On July 25, 1935 KD "Scale" involved in cycling trip to Oborishte. The company ranked third after the bicycle companies in Pernik and Svishtov. This trip also involved cyclists in the company town of Belogradchik and the Belogradchik several people from villages.

In 1942, Stefan Kostov Todorov Ostrokaptsi village, Belogradchik is a regional leader in road endurance race mileage: Vratsa-Ferdinand (now Montana) - Berkovitsa-Varshets Vratsa. There have been multiple trips and road races for speed and endurance.

In his first event resumed cycling club aims to involve young people in the city to a healthy lifestyle. And for smaller players is probably the most emotional experience of the holiday.




Promotional tour of nearly 400km of signposted and cleaned biking routes in the Western Balkans in Bulgaria and Serbia will take place from Sept 5 to Sept 9th. The event is organized within project “Mount a bike” 2007CB16IPO006-2009-1-19, funded under IPA Bulgaria-Serbia cross-border Program.

 The routes will take you to yet untouched places, where nature has created miracles of stone formations, incredible sceneries and well maintained routes for biking at various difficulty levels.

 Bike rental, bike repair and the hospitality and enthusiasm of local people are only some of the factors that we believe will turn in near future this place to a new biking top place in Europe!

The promotional tour will take 5 days, starting in Chiprovtsi on Sept 6th with a race, continuing with the race of Belogradchik on Sept 7th and entering Serbia in the afternoon of the next day with some biking in the area of Zajecar on Sept 8th and 9th. See detailed program attached.
